You can always tell a Hitchcock Madrona woman, or man, by their fierce Cuff. Whether it’s sterling silver, copper, or bronze when you see one you know you have meet a member of your tribe. The HM Cuff comes in two sizes. Kristina likes to wear the small bronze version everyday, layered with her watch and a couple of bangles. Erica is rarely seen without the large in sterling silver, and Dustin has been wearing his copper cuff long enough that is has the patina of a lucky penny. You have your choice of leather color, black or dark brown. The durable leather strap gets better with age, it will soften and conform to your wrist the longer you wear it. Go ahead, pick a combination – wide sterling and black leather, thin copper and brown leather – and join the tribe.
A perennial favorite! The wide HM Cuff in sterling silver with dark brown leather.
Who say’s you can’t layer our cuffs?!
No need to leave the gents out, our cuff looks just as good on him as her. Here, Dustin shows off a thin HM Cuff in matte sterling silver. He’s also sporting the Hitchcock Madrona signet ring. Fancy!
We’re all familiar with the 12 Days of Christmas but really, who needs all those birds … we might keep the five golden rings though! This holiday season we’re bringing you the 10 Hitchcock Essentials. At Hitchcock Madrona we believe that every woman needs ten essential items in her jewelry box – maybe 11 if you include a fabulous jewelry box!
Each post we’ll bring you a new Essential and some of the best versions of it.
Let’s get started with something big and bold – some of our favorite descriptors around here! The Statement Earring. You know the pair – you design an outfit around them, you put them on for that extra special date night, you’ll put your hair up just to make sure everybody sees how fabulous they are, they make you feel like the best version of yourself.
Vintage brass and chandelier crystal stunners by Xenia Mara Designs.
Lulu Frost never disappoints!
Another amazing pair by Xenia Mara – this time vintage brass and pyrite (most commonly know as Erica’s favorite stone!).
Dannijo rhinestone earrings. Dare to be bold this holiday season!
A fashionista queen know for her revolutionary style – Marie Antoinette is an obvious choice for my final Halloween look. We were inspired by the faux rustic farm that Marie had built at Versailles, sometimes a girl just needs to get away from it all and frolic in the fields in a ballgown and some sick jewels!
Any working mom (or at least the one’s I associate with!) will tell you…. “Let them eat prepackaged cupcakes!” Marie Antoinette, part sheltered teenager and part delusional queen. Gotta love her!
Bracelets: Xenia Mara layered crystal and vintage chain cuff, Lulu Frost rhinestone sunburst bracelet (right hand). Eddie Borgo yellow gold pyrimid bracelet and Iosselliani fall 2016 rhinestone bracelet (left hand).
Rings: Hitchcock Madrona vintage inspired cocktail rings. Limited edition.
Earrings: Xenia Mara vintage chain and rock crystal sparklers
Yes queen! Iosselliani rhinestone statement necklace as crown.
Necklaces: Xenia Mara double row rock crystal spikes. Love this necklace – it is organic, tough, wearable and a bit magical. If you don’t have a rock crystal piece in your jewelry wardrobe consider one. I wear mine constantly! This is the Deception Pass bridge in Washington State. It is (I fact checked this!) 180 feet tall and was built in 1935. Hardly any of the bridge pictures were usable because I was so scared! Melissa Baerwald my amazing friend and photographer kept telling me to relax but that wasn’t happening. In fact, it was so scary that when I tried to go to sleep that night I couldn’t – my mind had me falling off the edge! A little too close to poor Marie’s date with the guillotine for my taste!
Who doesn’t want to be Madonna? What’s your version? Mine is “Like a Virgin” Madonna. Forever ingrained in my brain….. This was my first album, tape, actually. A 5th birthday gift, along with a “boom box” and Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Not bad, right? 1983 was a good year. Still have the cassette player (somewhere at my parents house) and still listen to these albums. They have stood the test of time!
Bracelets: Lulu Frost rhinestone sunburst, Eddie Borgo yellow gold pyramid, and Xenia Mara bronze and rock crystal cuff. All amazing alone or layered.
Dressed up in all my loves (Iosselliani, Eddie Borgo, Xenia Mara, Lulu Frost, and Jennifer Behr) and letting my inner Material Girl run wild!
Iosselliani asymmetrical rhinestone necklace – love this piece! It is delicate but packs a punch. The whimsy of the random/asymmetrical crystals are perfect to take it away from stuffy.
Jennifer Behr rhinestone barrette used as a broach. Bracelets (right hand): faux pearls (costume store), Iosselliani rhinestone and gold plated bracelet, Eddie Borgo yellow gold pyramid bracelet.
Iosselliani cluster rhinestone ring. Obsessed! These vintage looking rings are fused together – looks like you raided your grandmother’s jewelry box and wore them all.
Go ahead, find your Madonna and express yourself!

We love Halloween here at Hitchcock Madrona. I mean, what’s not to love – dressing up in delicious fashions, playing with hair and makeup until it’s just right, and of course finding the perfect accessories to complete the look. This year we’ve taken it to the next level with an amazing series of photos by the talented Melissa Baerwald.
First up – our version of the Tim Burton classic Edward Scissorhands.
We found the perfect location

My outfit is built around (and inspired by) the current spring collection from Dannijo. Danielle and Jody, the deisgners, made a trip to Cuba for this season’s inspiration. Pastel colors punctuate fresh silhouettes which are reminiscent of what I image Cuba is like ….. 1950’s automobiles, pale pink and sea foam green buildings, year round sunshine, and exotic everything!
Cuban lady or accidental tourist?
Kelly Christy straw hat with mauve vintage ribbon trimming is perfect to balance the volume of this skirt and shade me from the sun. This hat is available in two colors (this and black) and is essential for the summer. Moscot “Miltzen” sunglasses in blonde.
Velia Necklace by Dannijo and large white Druzy Ring in rose gold by Hitchcock Madrona. Everyday is a Druzy day in my world.
Interested in any of these items? Email email@example.com for prices and descriptions.
Halloween time at Hitchcock Madrona! That means get in a costume that you can’t breath in, perch precariously on a rocky cliff, and wear all the jewels. This year I was transfixed with the imagery of the new Mad Max movie. I am old enough to remember the old movies (although not very clearly) which were brilliant. But, any movie with Grace Jones is automatically in the reference data base that is our minds….
Sister soldiers…..this could easily be Millie and I at closing time the Saturday before Mother’s Day in the boutique.
Do you have a boss like this?!?!? Xenia Mara chains are worn as belts and with more belts worn as belts.
Millie is wearing (amongst a lot of items from our prop closet) our sexy black leather driving gloves. One pair left in store!
Dramatic rhinestone earrings by Dannijo. These are tough yet feminine – the Dannijo sister’s are the masters of a complex design. So talented!
I am wearing two double pointed quartz necklaces by Xenia Mara (shortest necklace and spiky under layer), braided leather and chrome clasp choker by Hitchcock Madrona, Rhinestone necklace by Lulu Frost, and (last but not least) the largest of the steel “bug” collection by Surplus. Of course, a look is never complete without a large Hitchcock Druzy Ring in sterling silver.
Millie’s fur vest is designed by CFAN. Beanie hats by CFAN available in-store now. They are just as fierce as the vest but more wearable on the daily.
Double Hitchcock Cuff! The sterling silver version (available online) is everyday must have for Millie and I. We are naked without it! I have layered mine with a classic Eddie Borgo cone bracelet and his pave pyramid bracelet (both in gunmetal).
The sales warriors are ready for the holiday season! We have on our heavy metal and are geared up for all our holiday collections which will be arriving throughout November.
Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org for purchase details on anything I have mentioned.
Have a MAD Halloween!
Print and textile designer Charlotte Allen’s designs are something to behold. Boldly referencial, weaving dark motifs and sweeping femininity together to create images worthy of a frame and some serious real estate on the wall. Luckily for us, Charlotte’s designs are not limited to such a tragic fate. Instead, each design is printed on Italian Silk, or baby soft modal/cashmere blends. Whether it’s a night out on the town or a playful accent piece for your jeans and favorite sweater these scarves are sure to impress. Check out Klements UK below, and shop Charlotte’s designs in store and online through our Online Store.
The ‘Savages’ Print available in silk or modal/cashmere
‘The Orient (Light)’ and ‘The Orient (Dark)’ Prints: These prints are the same design, with inverse colors. The positive and negative space play creates two entirely different tones using identical imagery. The Orient (Dark) feels deeply galactic, while The Orient (Light) feels like a sandstorm of rich color.

Do you ever feel like you’re broken down on the side of the road, just waiting for someone to come along and tow you to safety? That is exactly how we feel waiting for Fall to come along. Enough with the babydoll dresses and billowy blouses. Well, we got impatient waiting for fall and decided to hit the road in search of patchwork, woolen layers, and the men’s coat of our dreams.
Scarves: Hitchcock Madrona; Sunglasses: MOSCOT
Chunky sweaters and oversized coats beg for a contrasting scarf and unexpected, exaggerated layers.
Scarf: Hitchcock Madrona; Earrings: Xenia Mara; Necklaces: Lulu Frost/ Dannijo/ Vintage
This year, we’re heading into fall with looks that pack a serious punch. Instead of easing into fall with a monochromatic attitude, we’re carrying color into our favorite season. From color-blocked hats and bags and festive cashmere, from Kelly Christy, Yestadt Millinery, and Hitchcock Madrona to 70s sexy, and Maleficent approved evil granny finds from our favorites at Dannijo and Lulu Frost we’re making our own fall story.
